Nicolas Wright: The Man: The Headshot

Nicolas Wright began his stage career, and thus his life, as one of the founding members of the multi-award-winning theatre company Gravy Bath Productions. In 2003, his portrayal of the title role in The Portrait of Dorian Gray at the Saidye Bronfman Centre earned him a nomination for Best Actor by the Montreal Critic’s Circle. Over the last few years, he has appeared in numerous television series and feature films, including the IFC series The Festival as well as its spin-off sequel The Business (Best Actor nomination, 2007 ACTRA Awards; Gemini nomination, Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series). In 2008 he co-starred in the Canadian independent feature The Wild Hunt (winner, Best First Canadian Feature, TIFF). Last fall he co-starred in the CBS prime time comedy Accidentally On Purpose with Jenna Elfman. He recently wrapped production on the Alliance Atlantis film Afghan Luke, starring alongside Nick Stahl.
